Chapter 1.4

A/N: Oops, it's been a really long time since the last update. That's usually what happens with me though unfortunately. I'll be really into the Sims for a while, and then it falls off my radar for months at a time. Maybe this time I'll be able to stick with things long enough to finish a legacy, but we'll see!

Tristan could tell that something had happened between his parents. He remembered there being a lot of tension and even some fights. It really stressed him out, and he took his mind off things by hanging out with his friends and doing homework.

Tristan was sad that his best friend would become a teenager before him. What if he forgot about him?

His best friend grew up into a very buff teenager with a trademark teenage smirk.
"Watch out, ladies!"
Tristan sighed. He just knew he was going to be forgotten. Until he was a teen too, he wouldn't be cool.
It was a time of many birthdays for the Keller household. Little Ada wasn't so little anymore.

The twins had turned into adorable little toddlers with suspiciously blond hair. Dominic remembered that Tristan's hair had been blond as a baby so he secretly hoped the twins' hair would turn blue as they grew up.

Sophie and Dominic could barely tell the twins apart, but the pouty one was Duncan who cried all throughout his infancy.

Fergus continued to be more cheerful, even as a toddler. But they were very close to identical, although Fergus' skin was a little bit lighter than his brother's.

Ada proved to be a very creative, artistic girl. Sometimes she felt as if she didn't really belong in the family. She didn't know why she felt like that, but every time she did she would express her feelings at her drawing table. It was very soothing.

With four kids in the house, things could quickly get stressful. Dominic decided it was time to have a guys' night at the Shrieking Llama. He had a blast, even with old Mortimer Goth sitting right next to him.

Back at home, the twins were inseparable. Raising twins had turned out to be quite the challenge, but the way Duncan and Fergus babbled happily to each other made up for it. They were ridiculously cute.

Even though his best friend had become a teen and thus wasn't as interested in playing anymore, Tristan made other friends, including Evie Delgato.

Before Dom knew it, it was his birthday. His blue hair turned to gray, and wrinkles seemed to sprout on his face overnight. He remained in good spirits though. So long as he had his family, he could handle whatever life threw his way.

Duncan and Fergus continued to do the twin thing. It seemed as if they had their own special language only they understood.

Dominic wasn't the only one to frequent the Shrieking Llama. Sophie needed a break from parenting as well and time to hone her guitar skills.

Being a stay-at-home mom and freelance guitarist didn't pay as well as Dom's programming career, but Sophie was still proud she managed to rake in some decent tips.

She even got a tip from a ghost! Who knew that simoleons still existed in the afterlife?

Dominic had come to suspect, though he never outright asked Sophie about it, that Ada and the twins were not biologically his children. This didn't trouble him as much as it perhaps should've, and he cared for them as if they were his own blood, as Tristan was undoubtedly was with that blue hair of his!

The kids did not know they were half-siblings, but even if they did, it would not have made a difference to them.

Tristan's birthday was fast approaching so he spent as much time with Evie as he could while they were still the same age.

Fergus was becoming quite the big boy. He could grab food for himself. Soon, he and his twin would be graduating from their toddler beds.

Giving birth to four kids, two of them twins, had thickened Sophie's waist considerably, but she wasn't too concerned. It certainly didn't stop her from walking around the house in her underwear all the time. It was comfy!

It was time for Duncan and Fergus to become big boys!

First up, Duncan. He turned out to be quite the smarty-pants (Genius).

Fergus was so Erratic he couldn't even keep his eyes open for a picture!

Not to be outdone by the twins, Tristan stepped up to his own cake to make a wish.

Though he loved his family, years of growing up in such a big family with so many siblings proved to be a bit too much for Tristan. He vowed never to have any kids of his own (Hates Children). Kids were just too stressful! He needed to do his own thing.

A/N: That's it for this long overdue chapter. Next time I think I'll switch to a more observational, rather than plotty tone. Writing a plotty Sims story really isn't my thing, and if I really want to finish this legacy, it will help me to write it in a much more casual style!

Chapter 1.3

Things were quite tense between Sophie and Dominic for a while. Dominic couldn't even bear to sit close to Sophie, and he'd taken to sleeping on the couch. Both parents put on a brave face for Tristan and baby Ada though. If there was one thing they could still agree on, it was that they both wanted the best for their kids.  To keep her mind off the stressful situation at home, Sophie continued to practice her singing and guitar skills. Soon other sims even began giving her tips!  It was one one sunny day at the park after a good jamming session that Sophie met Bjorn. From the moment she laid eyes on him, she felt that electric shock. He seemed to feel the same way, even though he, like Mortimer, was married.  Tristan was adjusting to school quite well. He made friends with a classmate named Cole, who had a genetic mutation that made his hair white. Tristan thought his friend's hair was super cool and wouldn't let anyone tease him about it. After al...

Chapter 1.2

Tristan continued to be an adorable little toddler, even though he did enjoy pouting quite a bit. Perhaps he could sense that there could be trouble for his parents down the line?  "Oh Sophie, even though I'm married, I can't help but care for you," declared Mortimer. "I've always been attracted to you, Sophie, since the day I first met you." "Oh my, Morty. I don't know what to say."  "Then don't say anything at all."  Sophie couldn't believe it. She was happy with Dominic, but there had always been a part inside of her, the part of her that loved to party and sing, that resented being tied down to any one person. When Morty kissed her, it excited her to her core. Even though she knew it was wrong, she couldn't stop. Meanwhile, back at home, Dominic, poor oblivious Dominic, proved to be a doting, devoted father to little Tristan. A bookworm himself, Dominic's favorite activity was reading ...
